Family Adventures to The Beach
One of our favorite things to do, even before we had kids, was to just have no plan at all and drive to find beaches or farms. Yes, we love searching for cows. Today, it was a fun day at the beach! We found this little gem of a beach south of Boston called Rexhame Beach in the coastal town of Marshfield, MA.
I brought one of my favorite Isabella Oliver ruched dresses as my friend was able to shoot us before we all got sandy and wet! The shot of me solo by the fence is one of my favorite maternity shots with baby Aura. She looks so cozy in there ;)
The beach brings such a sense of calmness to me more than any other place. Don’t you just love the colors of the sky, sand and water together? I’m obsessed with these colors! I have always escaped to the beach to clear my mind. Being in the water, specifically under water is such a feeling of escape for me. I think it comes from my swimming / surfing background where time just stands still, at least for just a moment.
I adore the photo of us walking down the beach. Tudor loves picking out rocks on the beach as we go. He loves running into the water but hasn’t mastered the concept that when the wave goes in… it comes back bigger! His outfit is from CrewCuts, the kids division of JCrew. They make skinny jeans which we love as more of a European look. His little white dress shirt is so cute too, wish we could dress up like this everyday! My husband always goes reluctnantly along with my crazy photoshoot ideas and always loves that we took the time to do them in the end!
Have any great beaches you love, please share them with me in the comments!
