Opera Night ~New Year's Eve Dinner at Servino
We rang in the New Year’s with Opera Night at Servino’s in Tiburon after loving our tree lighting brunch there a few weeks ago.
We were treated to an amazing five-course dinner while we were serenaded by some amazing opera singers walking around the tables. I’ve never been to the opera before so this was a great first look at how it would be up close. Their voices are so incredibly powerful it really set the vibe for a beautiful night! A big Bravo to Maestro Robert Ashens, Shawnette Sulker, Chester Pidduck and Igor Vieira!
They passed around appetisers before dinner with complimentary Prosecco. Dinner was a little gem lettuce with Dungeoness Crab, blood oranges and olives. Next, was house-made ravioli stuffed with beets and ricotta cheese, covered in buttered parmesan sauce and poppy seeds. After that, roasted fillet of beef in a chantilly reduction served with braised endive and potato croquette. To top it all off, for dessert was a poached pear in red wine, served with mascarpone cream *drools on space bar whilst typing!*
Servino’s has Opera Night once a month, you can check out their website and sign up online!
What’s your favourite New Years Eve tradition? I would love to hear from you below! Cheers!

And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne.
CHORUS
For auld lang syne, my jo,
For auld lang syne.
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp!
And surely I'll be mine!
And we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
REPEAT CHORUS
We twa hae run about the braes
And pu'd the gowans fine
But we've wander'd mony a weary foot
Sin auld lang syne.
REPEAT CHORUS
We twa hae paidl'd i' the burn
Frae mornin' sun till dine.
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin auld lang syne.
REPEAT CHORUS
And there's a hand, my trusty fiere!
And gie's a hand o' thine!
And we'll tak a right guid willy waught,
For auld lang syne.
