The Great Peter Pumpkin Patch, Petaluma, CA
Yes, another year, another pumpkin patch. This year we went early and visited the Great Peter Pumpkin Patch in Petaluma, CA. This patch is on an actual working farm which made it extra special. No bouncy houses and other distractions.
We started off with a hayride to the pumpkin patch and to dig up potatoes we could bring home. It was so fun, they had pitchforks for us to dig up the potatoes. Then we headed out to the pumpkin patch where the Designer in me scouted for the *perfect pumpkin*! You can see the beauty I picked right off its stem in the opening photo. Tudor like this huge pumpkin above, but mama was not about to carry that bad boy. It was so nice to be there on the day after it opened with lots of pumpkins and beautiful fields.
Highlights of our day was Tudor milking a cow! I think he was a little confused, but he does drink lots of whole milk daily. He was not scared at all and just started milking. Another highlight was the giant corn pits. We couldn't let Tudor have all the fun, so I jumped in with Aura in the baby carrier. I just wish I got a photo of that. It felt so nice as all the corn was nice and cool below the surface. I wanted to jump face first in too!
What's your favorite pumpkin patch and photo? Would love to hear from you!
