getting to Davos, switzerland
Davos is home to 5 mountains; Jakobshorn, Parsenn, Schatzalp & Strella, Madrisa and Pischa. We stuck to ‘the main two’ Jakobshorn and Parsenn.
We flew into Zurich and got the train pass to Davos Klosters station before settling in at the Precise Tale Seehof hotel.

Stop at Schiferstall for lunch and Bailey’s coffee ☕️

Enrol the kids at ski school so they get some great kid-friendly slopes in and mom and dad get daycare and some alone time!

The Nostalgie run has a super fun enclosed gondola called Schifferbahn which you can board from the top or halfway down and brings you right back to train access!

Weissfluhjoch has a gorgeous patio you can eat lunch at while you look over the most stunning mountain views! If you didn’t want to ski back to the base, you can grab either of the two trains right back down.
Lynn’s Tips 📋
The Totalp and Parsennhüttenbahn lifts are great for kids, and have a little bubble you can pull down over your chair.
The café at the Parsennhütte is a great lunch spot for kids 🍽️
Jakobshorn
To get to Jakobshorn you can jump on the Jakobshornbahn tram at Davos Platz. You’re going to get off and then catch the next tram to complete the second half of the journey to the top.
The base of this mountain is great for little ones or beginners who are learning to ski ⛷️

Grab a bite to eat at Güggelbahn and watch all the Snowboarders pulling off the most amazing trick moves 🏂 here we are doing just that! →

Take the Güggelbahn t-bar with the kids to access the snowboard/ski park and it will never get old. I swear my two would’ve been happy just doing this all week 😅

The Clavadeler Bubble is a really scenic lift with a bubble you can pull down so you’re enclosed. We loved taking these lifts here and at Parsenn, they felt like rides with the little enclosure around you!
