Visting the Jeness Goat Farm
So the truth's out.. we totally had no plan for this day other than driving north to farms in NH & VT and found this one. A charming little goat farm in NH just longing to have us for the day! We love having no plans with the kids sometimes, it feels like the best adventures come from last-minute spontaneous trips.
As for my baby fashionista's outfit: Aura’s fuzzy pink jacket is Janie and Jack, her pom pom hat is Hanna Andersson, her Mickey Mouse jeans Baby Gap & her cozy fur booties Robeez.
We spent the day making new fuzzy friends and taking a stroll around the farm shop, full of organic produce straight from the very goats we were petting! There were lots of goat milk products as you can see in the photos from candles to soap and lotion to lip balm. They even had little mini sample gift bags that we picked up for some late Christmas presents. Aura is modeling some of the goat soap below.
It was freezing out but Tudor loved chasing the turkeys and playing with the goats. As for my toddler's get up: Tudor has a Polarn O Pyret Russian fur hat and red ski jacket. We scored some Eddie Bauer boots at Marshalls when we went to visit Grand Dad in upstate NY. The windchill was negative 0, no joke, and we had no winter boots, doh!
It was such a lovely immersive day with the option to take away some treats from the shop too. I hope you too can head out, even is just for an hour, with absolutely no plans. Those days always come out the best. To be honest, sometimes we even head out for a weekend only with our destination in mind and let the activities of the day unfold as they may!
What is the best spontaneous trip you have done with family or friends? I would love to hear from you!
