Festive Holiday Brunch at Servino in Tiburon, CA
So, with December in full swing it’s high time we got in the Christmas spirit in our beautiful town of Tiburon. It was the annual tree-lighting ceremony and all the kids were having the best time what with the little train that was taking them on rides, Santa’s sleigh pulled by two horses, and free homemade cookies from Tudor’s pre-school. Tudor brought his own special Sugar cookies and decorated them with white frosting stars with sprinkles with help from little Aura. (cute moment up until they decided to fight over the sprinkles which ended up covering literally everything in colourful sugary goodness…)
All the local stores were having sales and special events, and the good people at Servino restaurant hosted a festive brunch for local bloggers. The owner is straight from Italy, so you can just imagine how great the food is!
We had Fungi pizza and Zucca pizza (butternut squash!), Branzio fillet roasted in a wood oven with arugula capers, olives and fresh tomatoes, Mela salad made with apples marinated in balsamic vinegar, goat cheese and walnuts and honey, The Salt Spring Muscles which were my absolute favourite of the day, marinated in white wine, garlic Anduja Calabrese salami with grilled crostini… my mouth is watering even remembering as I type! Not to forget the Taglioini with Chanterelle mushrooms, white wine, garlic and parsley! And of course… bottomless Mimosas. Topped off with Myer Lemon Gelato accompanied with espresso for dessert…Seriously though… pass me the napkin!

Upstairs they have a huge event space you can rent out for your holiday parties, perfect for those big gatherings at this time of year! There are decks overlooking the water and all the boats on both floors.
