About the event

I was SO excited when J.Crew approached me to co-host their annual kid’s fashion show with them. J.Crew is a brand my family and I have worn and loved for years, so to have them be my first big brand collaboration and have me act as their ‘icon’ for Corte Madera was incredible. They partnered with influencers all over the country to raise brand awareness nationwide and it was an honour to be their pick to promote and highlight incredible people.

The event was held at my local store so my kids and I got dressed in our favourite J.Crew new holiday outfits for the 2018 season. We had a red carpet runway that the kid’s could strut down while the Mom’s snapped away taking hundreds of cute photos. There was even a store employee who pretended to be a fashion show announcer, saying what each child was wearing which was really cute and the kids loved it!

Some of the kids totally owned the red runway and some of them were more concerned with the chocolate brownie bites on the refreshment table and needed coaxing away ahem, Tudor! We had to dangle sweet treats to get them to walk it, ha!

We had snacks and sips, balloons and a whole lotta style. The sales that day were incredible and everyone went home excited to don their new holiday outfits. I’m so excited to do another collaboration with J.Crew in the Spring time for Crewcuts.
